Role: Audio Recordist

Constanza Chorus is a City of London based choral society which was started in 2010 and comprises off around 130 members. The choir were seeking to produce a new CD of their repertoire, ready to take on tour with them across Europe this summer.

I was brought on board as Audio Recordist at the venue that they’d chosen to record – St. Mary at Hill, located near Monument/Bank in London. Over two days and about 10 hours of recording, the choir managed to get through an amazing 15 pieces of some incredibly challenging music with acapella pieces and pieces accompanied by piano and were very happy with the end result, an example of which you can hear above.
